Our network
Built to reach homes other wireless can’t
Every new ezWave install uses our newest radios. They connect through trees and around obstacles, and keep your connection fast and steady.
What makes our network different
Measured on our own network
Measured on ezWave’s network in October 2026: radio-link latency from nightly tests of 689 homes, plus tower-to-backbone latency; distances from 736 connected receivers.
Common questions about wireless internet
Do I need a clear line of sight to the tower?
Most homes don’t need a perfectly clear view of the tower, but heavy trees can matter. We check your address, and the technician confirms on site. Every new install uses our newest radios, built to connect through trees and around obstacles.
Does rain or weather affect the signal?
The radio link to your home works on frequencies below 7 GHz, where rain and fog have very little effect. A severe storm can still knock out the power, and that takes down any kind of home internet.
Can wind knock the receiver out of line?
Our technicians mount the receiver firmly to your building. If it ever shifts or stops working, call us: the service call is free.
Does it slow down in the evening?
We don’t oversubscribe our towers, so your speed holds up when everyone is streaming at night.
How does ezWave compare with fiber, cable and 5G home internet?
If fiber reaches your address it can be faster, and it’s worth comparing. Many homes in our area, especially outside town, don’t have fiber or cable. When you compare, look at the whole cost: we’re $40 a month with free installation, no contract, no data caps and a static IP included. 5G home internet shares the cell network with phones and usually doesn’t include a static IP.
Why do you serve only part of the Central Valley?
We’re a local company serving parts of Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties from our own towers, with technicians who live here. We check every address and tell you plainly if we can’t reach it.
